Vote For Your Crypto Pioneer!

Who should be the next member of the Crypto Hall of Fame? You can decide until November 30th!

From now on, we are using a new method to decide on the next member of the Crypto Hall of Fame. Out of the many suggestions we have received, our team has selected two candidates which we think are worthy to be inducted. The final choice is yours!

We will have a democratic vote in our Telegram group. If you want to decide who will be inducted to this equivalent of the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame for the crypto world, please join our group and cast your vote for one of these two crypto pioneers.

Ralph C. Merkle is a computer scientist and an important contributor to public-key cryptography. He is widely considered the inventor of cryptographic hashing. The Merkle tree, a data structure in which every leaf node is labelled with the hash of a data block and every node that is not a leaf (called a branch or inner node) is labelled with the cryptographic hash of the labels of its child nodes, is named after him. Satoshi Nakamoto used the Merkle Tree as a main element for Bitcoin.

Rodolfo Andragnes is the creator of the longest running Bitcoin conference in the world, the Latin American Bitcoin Conference (Labitconf). He also co-founded Latin America’s first Bitcoin foundation, the NGO Bitcoin Argentina, and other pioneering ventures like La Bitcoineta or Blockchain for Humanity. In 2000, he registered the domain bitcoins.com for a digital currency project, but he assures that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto.

Both portraits have been created by Max Cryptohead. All portraits of the series 21 Heads can be purchased as NFTs on the Bitcoin-based art marketplace Carnaval.art.

We will raffle three t-shirts created by the Bitcoin Embassy Bar Mexico City among the participants. They bear the slogan “Yo También Soy Satoshi Nakamoto” (I am Satoshi Nakamoto, too).

The deadline for voting is November 30th, 2022, 23:59 EST.
